Worley — Senior Instrumentation Control Engineer / Manager I&C (Oct 2023–2026, Pune)

Functional Focal Point for bp's global refinery portfolio (Rotterdam, Cherry Point, Whiting, Kwinana). Led ~25 I&C professionals including 5 lead engineers. Control System Lead for Shell's REDII GREEN biofuels project in the Netherlands and led a 15‑engineer team on bp Kwinana Renewable Fuels (PFU, PTU, hydrogen, tank farm), working within Worley's SEAL framework and presenting it to bp's global leadership.

Tecnimont — Deputy Chief Engineer I&C (Jun 2019–Oct 2023, Mumbai)

Deputy Project Leader, Process Control & Automation on IOCL Paraxylene, a USD 450M EPCC project with ~9,300 control‑system I/Os. Led I&C automation on IOCL Acrylics/Oxo‑Alcohol (USD 255M LSTK) covering DCS, ESD, GDS, FDAS and machine monitoring. Project Leader – I&C for Borouge B4 FEED (PE, PP, LDPE, product handling). Led automation inputs on IOCL PTA/PX and HRRL refinery/petrochemical proposals.

Tata Consulting Engineers — Manager Instrumentation (Jan 2015–May 2019, Navi Mumbai)

Project Leader I&C across multiple Cairn India upstream brownfield projects in Rajasthan, Odisha and Gujarat. Led I&C on the LPG Import Terminal at Mundra for Adani/MLTPL. PMC Project Leader I&C on a PVC/VCM & Chlor‑Alkali project in Mekelle, Ethiopia, including engineering reviews in Ethiopia and China. I&C review lead on Henkel Adhesives Kurkumbh greenfield project and Transpek/Silox chemical project in Gujarat.

Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals — Sr. Manager Instrumentation (May 2012–Jan 2015, Navi Mumbai)

Led I&C, automation, maintenance and reliability across K7/K8, AN Dry, WNA, Bensulf, AN Solution and Bagging plants with a 5‑member team. Managed Emerson DeltaV DCS/SIS and Allen‑Bradley PLC/SCADA. Led a safety redesign of ammonium‑nitrate powder conveying to address a high‑risk material‑handling hazard. Core member of SAP PM/MM implementation and contributor to ISO 9001/14001 implementation.

Essar Oil Refinery — Dy. Manager Instrumentation (May 2007–May 2012, Jamnagar)

I&C engineering and commissioning on DHDS, SRU, HMU and Isomerization units using ABB and Yokogawa DCS/ESD. Supported marine loading automation at the Vadinar Port berth and gantry loading system automation for refinery product dispatch.

Alkyl Amines Chemicals — Assistant Engineer Instrumentation (Jul 2005–Apr 2007, Daund)

Worked across MPP‑1/2/3, Hydrogen Plant, Ethyl Amines Plant and Utilities on GE Fanuc PLC and CIMPLICITY SCADA. Led the automation of hazardous‑chemical drum filling, eliminating direct operator exposure to a hazardous chemical.

Balkrishna Tyres — Trainee Engineer Instrumentation (Jan–Jun 2005, Aurangabad)

Shift‑based I&C maintenance across Mixing, Extrusion, Calendaring, Tyre Building, Curing and Hot Water Utilities. Handled PLC‑based machine automation and curing‑machine sequence troubleshooting.

Godavari Biorefineries (formerly Somaiya Organo Chemicals) — Trainee Instrumentation Engineer (Sep 2003–Sep 2004, Kopargaon)

Part of the team that engineered and commissioned an ABB DCS‑based Crotonaldehyde Plant, converting a manually operated plant into a fully automated facility at Sakarwadi.
